THE BEST DESTINATIONS BY BOAT

CABBAGE KEY

Cabbage Key is a must-see if you are boating in the Fort Myers / Cape Coral area. It’s a classic to head out for lunch to this adorable little island with its large turtle population, some of which might wander across the patio while you dine.

And keep a $1 bill handy... once you’re there, you’ll know what you need it for 😊

CAYO COSTA

The island of Cayo Costa is absolutely beautiful. Formerly a fishing area for the Calusa Indians, the island is only accessible by boat. Nine miles of undeveloped coast offer plenty of opportunities to swim, snorkel, fish, watch birds and explore the island along several walking and cycling paths.

Coastal birds can be seen in large numbers, and if you’re lucky, you might spot manatees, dolphins and sea turtles along the coast.

HARBOURSIDE BAR & GRILL

This restaurant is located on Captiva, surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico, and offers fantastic views of the entire marina.

The cuisine is local and very fresh. What’s unique is that you can bring your own catch of the day to be cleaned in the restaurant and prepared just the way you like it.

THE WATERFRONT RESTAURANT

Attention boaters... The Waterfront Restaurant is located directly on the Intracoastal Waterway, marker 13A. Take 15ΒΊ towards the Henley Canal. The dock offers 16 slips with 6-8 ft water.

The wide range of dishes are scrumptious and the view is outstanding. Definitely worth the trip!

WOODY'S ISLAND RUM & GRILL

Woody's is a popular restaurant on Pine Island. The fabulous location on the water makes dining a superior experience and the place a great destination for the entire family. It was named after a faithful dog – take some time to read the entire story on their website.

So, hop on the boat and head out to Woody's Island Rum & Grill.

PICNIC ISLAND

I’ll just pack the cooler, the grill, the hot dogs, and we’re good to go!” is how a trip to Picnic Island with family and friends usually starts. Travel time by boat from Cape Coral is about 45 min.

You’ll have the opportunity to collect shells, go swimming, fishing, hiking, camping and of course enjoy a picnic.

FORT MYERS BEACH

Fort Myers Beach is a city located on Estero Island, an island on Southwest Florida’s coast. It features an endless sandy beach along the Gulf of Mexico. The Times Square plaza is full of shops and restaurants, while the Ostego Bay Marine Science Center presents local marine creatures and plants. Further east, hiking paths allow the exploration of the Matanzas Pass Preserve

Fort Myers Beach is a great destination!

PARROT KEY

Visit paradise at Parrot Key!

The Parrot Key Caribbean Grill was voted Best Waterfront Dining Restaurant for the first time in 2004 and still serves delicious, Caribbean-inspired seafood, Florida favorites and tropical cocktails in a fun open-air setting by the water.
